Video series with corresponding workbooks to take young people through the whole process of creating their own films. There are three classes all created by Keiba Clubb based on her experience of teaching young people in workshops and lecturing for the University of the Highlands and Islands.

  • Pre-production - Learning how to come up with and organise your ideas. Setting goals, understand genres and planning for filming your own original idea. Lessons in creating storyboards and scripts. Preparing for filming with some basic camera theory as well as prop and costume design. Everything you need to get your film ready for production.

  • Production - Looking more closely at camera theory and camera operations. Considering how to achieve your film goals. Learning about lighting and other important techniques. A tick list schedule to keep your production on track as well as hints and tips.

  • Post-production- How to bring your footage into the edit and create your final film. Working with effects and transitions. Adding graphics, tweaking sound levels, sourcing and adding sound track and stock footage. Exporting for upload and reviewing your film.
